AssetYard sells digital files that are delivered immediately. This policy explains when a purchase can and cannot be refunded.
Before you download
If you have not yet downloaded any file from an order, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Contact Support with your order number.
After you download
Once a file from an order has been downloaded, that order is not refundable. The file cannot be returned, and download is the point at which you receive the full value of the purchase.
This is why the product page lists the file formats, the applications the files work in, and the technical specifications before you buy. Read them, and ask us if anything is unclear — we would rather answer a question than take a sale you did not want.
When we do refund after download
We refund a downloaded order in these cases:
- The files do not match the product page. Wrong formats, missing files, or specifications that differ from what was published.
- The files are corrupt or unusable and we cannot supply a working replacement.
- Duplicate payment. You were charged twice for the same order.
- Unauthorised payment. The purchase was not made by you or with your permission.
In the first two cases we will normally offer a working file first. If we cannot supply one, you get a refund.
What is not a reason for a refund
- Changing your mind after downloading.
- Buying the wrong product when the product page correctly described what it was.
- Not owning, or not being able to run, the software listed under the product's software compatibility.
- Not being satisfied with how the files look in your own project.
How to request a refund
Email support@assetyard.io with your order number and what went wrong. We respond within one business day — see Support.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer decides how quickly the money appears — typically 5 to 10 business days. If it has not arrived after that, contact your bank first: once we have issued the refund, the delay is on their side and they can trace it.
Your statutory rights
AssetYard Creative LTD is a UK company, so the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 apply to consumer purchases. They give a 14-day right to cancel — the same window offered above.
For digital content delivered immediately, that right ends once the download begins, but only if two things happened first: you expressly consented to immediate delivery, and you acknowledged that consenting ends your right to cancel. Both have to be recorded before payment.
Owner input needed the checkout does not yet collect that consent. Until it does, "no refund after download" rests on nothing for a UK or EU consumer and the 14-day right survives the download. This clause and the checkout change should go to a lawyer together.
